Joining MEMSA provides you with a voice on the regional, state and national level. MEMSA is a professional organization that is committed to promoting quality emergency medical services for the people of the state of Missouri. Our goals include: to promote the general welfare of the Emergency Medical Services in Missouri; to encourage public information and education about the services rendered by emergency medical personnel; to encourage and support education of emergency medical personnel based on identified needs; to promote and support legislative issues that enhance the quality of emergency medical services; to develop and maintain positive relationships and communication with other professional organizations and agencies dedicated to enhancing the quality of emergency medical services; to create and maintain fiscal policies that allow a financially sound organization; and to support efforts to utilize existing and planned resources to meet the changing and growing needs of the services and the public to remain poised for health care reform both statewide and nationally.

MEMSA provides several membership categories. Please select the category that describes you best. MEMSA accepts payment by personal check, Visa or Master Card. We encourage you to become an active member and to participate in our endeavors. We welcome your input and your ideas in the pursuit of MEMSA’s goals.

Individual Members are Missouri licensed EMTs, paramedics, physicians, first responders, nurses and others who routinely provide emergency medical services or support. Dues for individual members are $25 per year. Dues for individuals whose employers are
MEMSA members are $20 per year. Dues for student memberships are $15 per year.

Individual-Associate Members are not licensed to provide EMS but are otherwise supportive of the mission and goals of the association. Dues for individual associate members are $30 per year.

Organization Members are ambulance services, hospitals, fire protection services, rescue agencies and others that utilize licensed personnel to provide emergency medical services within the state of Missouri. Dues for organization members are $200 per year for organizations with greater than 400 patient contacts annually. Dues for organizations with less than 400 patient contacts annually are $75 per year.

Organization-Associate Members are engaged in the manufacture or distribution of goods or services to EMS providers. Dues for organization associate members are $300 per year, which includes three individual memberships.
