It’s time once again to register for the 22nd Annual Combined Clinical Conference scheduled for August 12 - 15, 2008 at the Lake of the Ozarks - Tan-Tar-A Resort at Osage Beach, Missouri. The resort is located two miles off Highway 54, on State Road KK, midway between St. Louis and Kansas City.

MEMSA members are invited to nominate new representatives to the MEMSA Board of Directors!  

 

Four regions are open for new nominees.  Nominations must be received by June 15. Details are as follows:

On Wednesday, August 13 this year, MEMSA will celebrate its twenty-fifth anniversary!

The celebration will take place during the Combined Clinical Conference at Tan-Ter-A in the Chrystal Ballroom.

2008 award nominations are needed right away! 

Please take the time to recognize EMS professionals and organizations who have contributed to EMS in Missouri in a way that is above and beyond the call of duty. 

Despite Emergency Medical Personnel in Missouri and Kansas working hard to bring the National EMS Memorial to the Heartland the decision was announced in mid-May that the memorial will be located in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

This year's National EMS Memorial Bike Ride event occurred over four days and included more than 100 men and women from 24 states and Ireland.

I. INTRODUCTION

Literally over the centuries Courts have employed “Axioms of Construction” to aid in understanding and applying statutes.  In a democracy the Separation Powers principle requires deference by the Judicial Branch to the elected Branches of government.
